Contact forms and Virtual Lee

Your contact form goes to Lee through Postmark. Virtual Lee is an AI assistant powered by OpenAI. Chat messages are processed by OpenAI, stored privately on this server, and emailed to Lee through Postmark after every exchange, including anonymous conversations. Please do not share passwords, confidential records, or sensitive personal information.

Information supplied through the API is not used by OpenAI to train its models by default. Provider processing and retention rules still apply. We use your details to understand your request and follow up; we do not sell them.

A cookie to remember your conversation

Opening the chat creates a secure first-party cookie that lasts up to 30 days. It contains a random conversation identifier, not your name or email. It lets this browser recover your conversation and remaining exchanges. Choose “Forget this browser” in the chat to remove the cookie. This disconnects the browser; it does not erase records already sent to Lee.

Your microphone, your choice

Microphone and read-aloud controls are independent and off by default. Microphone access starts only when you turn it on and grant browser permission. Speech is sent for transcription; raw microphone recordings are not retained on our server. Transcribed messages are handled like typed messages. Spoken replies use an AI-generated voice.

Simple traffic totals

We count daily visits using a daily-changing hashed network identifier and page path. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Standard server access logs also support site operations and security.
